When Harnaaz was crowned, the most anticipated fact was that she belongs to a new generation of Miss Universe, specifically Gen Z. This corded dress with blazer put a very futuristic baddie appeal to her and showcased the DNA of new generation Miss Universe
Glimmer on the Red Carpet
This evening piece has my heart. The metal liquid fabric has made a comeback and this was a welcoming look on Harnaaz. It seemed to have adjusted to accentuate her curves and there was a beauty to it.
Heritage in the Making
Harnaaz showed what it meant to bring back pride after 21 long years in this golden saree. While the entire event was broadcasted, everyone, including me, were hoping for a saree and she did manage to wear one later. The yellow dress was a great choice and I have mentioned many times- colours are Harnaaz’s thing!
India’s pride
The moment of pride is the parade of victory in her hometown Chandigarh. She wore this exquisite sequinned beaded saree that certainly had a simple charm to it and did not distract from the moment that was Harnaaz’s to own!
In the night, stars shine
Imagine this- you are in the centre of the universe, night time by the sea and you have to shine brighter than before. The world looks at you and you shine in midnight blue!
How’s the josh? SKY HIGH!
A little story time, my love for fashion increased with this same item Harnaaz wore. This anarkali coat took me back to my days of sketching it consistently and hoping to create it when I become a designer (I think the time has come!)
Ready, get, set, SUIT!
Suits are always a part of Miss Universe wardrobe. Some may even call it a uniform. Harnaaz’s homecoming showed the range with beautiful, power packed and colourful suits to her signify her presence.
Headlining in Pink
Pink has redefined itself a lot as a statement in past few years. Harnaaz managed to show us how it can be a perfect meeting outfit. And have you seen the footwear with the fur? A little fun to ootd at work didn’t hurt anyone!
Bold Expression
Another thing about fashion is that you have to take risks and wear styles that are completely out of your league. These two looks represent the zest that Harnaaz carries as a Miss Universe. A bit different but certainly oozing with power.
Belle of the Ball…Universe rather!
Harnaaz and ball gowns were on my wishlist since her crowning and do I say anymore! Not one I got two looks portraying uber futuristic ball gowns
Armoured in Sari
Very rarely we get to see a saree to represent a military vibe and this particular piece was perfect for the event. Talk about in sync with the event!
